Working with someone who is carving out an entirely new path changes how you look through the viewfinder.

This set is from a morning out with my brother and close friend, Fahad Khalid Al-Thani, Qatar’s first professional boxer. We skipped the stiff, overly staged setups. Instead, we just followed him out into the light and watched the sheer discipline and focus that goes into what he does every day.

That is what I love most about photography. When you strip away the superfluous shots, you are left with the actual person behind the craft.
