Story

The Heart of the Project

For the 11 years I was living in Qatar, I was fascinated by the quiet threads that connect us all—the shared smiles over a morning coffee or the resilience in a stranger’s stride. I started noticing that while we live side by side, we often miss the stories right in front of us. This book began with a simple question: What changes when we truly stop to listen to each other's stories?

Each portrait here is a warm invitation into a lived reality. Together, they form a visual map of our shared humanity, celebrating the details that make this place feel like home. I can't wait to share these moments with you.

“O humanity! We created you all from a single man and a single woman and made you into races and tribes so that you should recognise one another. In God’s eyes, the most honoured of you are the ones most mindful of Him: God is all-knowing, all-aware.”
