Bridging the gap between deep tech and human purpose for a product-led startup. I helped Dragonfly translate complex engineering data into a clear launch strategy, aligning developers, investors, and customers under a single, honest narrative.

01 // The Gap

Dragonfly had two massive strengths: serious technical credibility and a genuine social mission. The problem was they lived in separate worlds. The engineering team knew exactly how the product worked, but explaining why anyone outside that room should care was a different story.

02 // The Discovery

To find the bridge, I ran workshops and spoke directly with the co-founders and product leads. Instead of hunting for marketing buzzwords, I looked for product proof: the real-world evidence and early user experiences that showed the technology actually worked.

03 // The Narrative

I mapped these human stories against the product’s technical milestones. This allowed us to build an honest, proof-first narrative that respected the engineering while speaking clearly to everyone else. I wrote the core web copy, created pitch materials for investors, and tailored messaging so it resonated with both developers and everyday users.

04 // The Outcome

For the first time, everyone in the company was telling the same story. With the confusion cleared away, the commercial team had a clear, repeatable pitch they actually felt confident sharing. The global launch went out with a message that was grounded, believable, and consistent across every channel.

05 // The Lesson

Real product proof scales better than empty brand manifestos. When you ground your story in what your technology actually does, you build trust and give your team words they can genuinely use.
